About DMG Technical Ltd

DMG Technical Ltd is a family owned business based in South Wales providing technical support services to the Amusement Industry locally, across the UK as well as oversea maintaining control systems, amusement rides and pneumatic systems.

We aim to ‘make leisure safer’ through embracing technology.  Our systems and trained engineers follow a systematic program of testing and inspection.

We all agree Health and Safety is of paramount concern from small fairground operators to larger companies.  We follow the latest legislation to make sure you are in compliance with regulations for that Country you operate in.

Since 1996, our Engineers have been inspecting Amusement Rides worldwide.

In 2014 the business went from being a sole trader to forming the company DMG Technical Ltd.

Complete with a back office staff of 4, our team of 5 engineers are fully supported to make sure your amusement rides are up to the required standard and any faults reported at speed.

DMG Technical Ltd is registered under the ADIPS (The Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme) for the following disciplines: Pre-Use Inspection (PUI), Assessment of Conformity to Design (ACD) and Initial Test (IT) (which must be completed before an amusement device can operate for the first time) and In-Service Annual Inspection (for when the device is operational to the public).

In-Service covers Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic and Functional test. We also produce Non-Destructive Examination Schedules.

Trade bodies we work with include:

Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain (SGGB), British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA), Association of Independent Showman (AIS), British Amusement Catering Trades Association (BACTA) and Society of Independent Roundabout Proprietors (SIRPS).

Some events we have been involved with both past and present: The Garden Festival of Wales, Winter Wonderland (London, Cardiff, Swansea and Edinburgh) and Caerphilly Cheese Festival to name just a few..
